What a Beastie !!! Six – count ’em – Six engines – and proved the theory of compression lift – and the Soviets spent hundreds of millions of rubles to develop and deploy the Mig 25 – and about the only thing the Mig 25 was good for was very limited use as a reconnaissance platform – straight line was pretty damn good – but maneuvering was another story entirely – was the XB 70 program a success ??? What it cost the US to develop the prototypes versus what was spent to defend against it – yeah I would say it was a success – The XB 70 – a six pack to go . . .
