Hard to believe Levon Helm has been gone over 8 years – such an amazing career spanning so many years – Don’t ever forget folks, Bob Dylan released “Like a Rolling Stone” twice – the first release was in his acoustic “coffee shop” style and lost money – didn’t even make the cost of the pressing – re-released with Levon Helm and his band for back up – well as they say – the rest is history . . .
Would Bob Dylan be the star he is if he hadn’t got together with Levon Helm and “The Band”??
