Throughout the history of the United States, we have encouraged and demanded that free and fair elections take place in other nations to gain our support in the U.N. and NATO. That is the absolute minimum requirement. When other societies have failed to offer free and fair elections to their people they have suffered penalties including economic sanctions and embargoes. The very reason this has always been true is that the minimum that should be accepted of a modern nation is the ability of its people to choose its leaders and participate in local and national policy. Joe Biden and the Democrats (a political party that has evolved into a collectivist party) seek to deny that status to their own citizens. . .
