Just trying to get “stuff” done – new wipers on my Blushing Bride’s steed – Check – gas in her steed – Check – Enthusiasm level – not present . . .
So here’s the Cimarron with one coat of wax . . .

Starting on the second coat . . .

Actually starting to get shiny . . .

Back together – ready for a light rub with a micro fiber cloth . . .

Looks a lot better in person than in the pic – BBQ ready!

About that strip them down and wax thing – or in the case of my EDC Rock Island chase all the dust bunnies out – the Wilson combat recoil spring and guide thing – The base of the guide rod is a tiny bit bigger than the RIA – makes it a real bitch to get apart or put back together – I skinned about a 1/16 of an inch of the circumference of the base of the guide rod – the end that sits on the barrel – it was simple but a little bit of a time consumer – Mr Belt Sander to the rescue!!

The little darling all ready to go back in service . . .

Hope to get off my lazy ass and get the pics done for this . . .

You didn’t even notice I was gone — did you? I finally said the Hell with it and mowed – it looked like the heavens were going to open up most of the day – misty all day – I start mowing and the sun comes out – Boom! – hot as can be with humidity to go with it!
Gonna eat supper an get to the range and wring the p232 out – then sort through all the pics and get a review for y’all . . .
Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
