I chased strange signals for a long time – there was a lot out there at one time – and they are still out there – for a time in the 70’s DTMF style tone bursts were “in vogue” – have not run across one in years – that doesn’t mean they aren’t still being used by someone somewhere – it just means I haven’t heard one in a while . . .
