First Round / Bluetti AC200L Initial Test

First – the office set up : 2 monitors / 5 volt power supply for her little desk fan and wireless headset charging / powered adjustable height desk with inductive cell phone charging / floor lamp . . .

. . . mini work computer . . .

. . . bigger fan and little freezer . . .

In the event the electric company chokes and pukes – will it run this and for how long?? At 98% charge state when we started . . .

The hope is to run this for 8 hours . . .

Oliver and Curtis were helping daddy set this up – some tough work and they needed a nap after initial set up – LOL!

19% left after 9 hours of run time . . . Next test I will run an extension cord to the router and WiFi dongle at the same time and see what that does . . .

daddy -this product testing and evaluation stuff is not only hard work – but it’s kinda high stress – we are plumb tuckered out after a whole day of testing! . . .

Where we lived in Omaha the circuit ran through a lot of areas with old growth trees – a little bit of wind / lightning / snow / or a tree simply decides “fuck it – I’m not being a tree anymore” – woof bam – no power for three minutes / three hours / three days / three weeks / or anywhere in between. Working from home my Blushing Bride sorta kinda needs an assured supply of electricity and it looks look this Bluetti just might fill the bill.

Just to note : the electricity has flickered twice in the year we have been here – once was literally short enough the only way we realized it had happened was the clock on the microwave was blinking – the other was for about 1 or 3 seconds – YAY Xcel Energy! Not to ding OPPD – they have a LOT of lines above ground (strung on poles) running through older sections of town that are vulnerable to branches / limbs / trees landing on power lines . . .

I am setting up to test the router / WiFi with it at the same time – I will have to figure out some type of mount for it as the dongle needs to be run in a vertical orientation – maybe just an outlet strip sticky stripped / velcro strip stuff to the wall – then I can just unplug it from the wall outlet and plug it into an extension cord plugged into the back up- not to sure about that as it doesn’t involve duct tape – LOL! . . .

Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
