I had to laugh at the beginning of this – I have a Glock brand Glock G21 converted to 460 Rowland – and I assure you – that cartridge is Hell for Stout – LOL!

If you have questions – the best thing you can do is go to a range that rents different pistols and try them – what fits and works for you – is exactly that – what does it for you! A lot of people who have never shot a 1911 before – the almost universal reaction from first time 1911 shooters? Oh My! – The trigger is incredible / wonderful / excellent etc. etc. The run of the mill 1911 trigger is so much better ( and easier to master ) than almost anything out there is why so many people carry them. Yes, YOU have to tend to “dress” around the gun – and they are heavy compared to the polymer pistols out there – but – they are a design that is easy to learn and use. Bruce – You aren’t gonna invoke the “P” word again, are you?? Yes. Yes as a matter of fact I am. And I am also going to invoke the “T” word as well!

Practice AND Training!

Get with an instructor and train – there are some real good training programs out there – the more training you embrace – the more you practice – the more proficient you become. It’s just that simple . . . And you will have fun at the same time – it’s like fishing – my worst day fishing so far beat my best day working . . .
