A Word to Pilots : Read Your NOTAM’s!

A Long Long Time Ago – in a country far far removed from the pile of shit that the communists have turned this once great republic into – a commercial airliner overflew the Nevada Test Site – the aircraft was forced down – all of the passengers were removed from the aircraft – all of the film in all of the cameras that anybody and everybody had was exposed – the aircrew? – they weren’t heard from for about a week – and as far as I know, none of them ever flew again – even as a passenger – they never had anything to say publicly or privately about the accommodations and amenities they were afforded while they were being “interviewed” – different times . . .

Don’t know about you folks, but I really haven’t slept well since SAC stood down . . .

Housekeeping Traffic? Flash Traffic? EAM?

Most of the 30 + character messages are almost “housekeeping” traffic in nature – a tremendous amount of radio traffic is broadcast in a given week or month – when SAC was a happening thing the Sky King messages were being directed to those units currently in operational status. The last video gives you some idea(s) as to how the message traffic is structured – what any of it means? I’ll play the silly game – What does any of it mean??

Managed to listen to a lot of the various stations in the past 60 years – but again exactly which station? – unless they identify themselves in “clear” or you are receiving signals from a given area due to propagation – it’s all anybody’s guess – I still listen to the military frequencies – but more to check conditions than anything else – LOL!
