Once You Know This, Every PSYOP Becomes Obvious . . .

Pay CLOSE attention here folks – I post a lot of smoke and mirrors bullshit – then there is the occasional nugget that you get a glimpse of truthful stuff – I generally don’t make a point of a given nugget – I just put stuff out there and if it clicks for you it clicks – if it don,t – it don,t – go to YouTube and watch this and click the links through to his site – I’ve been pointing this stuff out for years – I mean really – was Jimmy Carter put in place just to make sure Reagan was put in place? Or Biden to ensure Trump’s placement?? How many layers deep do you think the gigantic PSYOP that we are trying to live through runs?? Realistically – no matter how twisted your perception of the “layers” are – you haven’t scratched the surface . . .

try hardcore listening to shortwave and start looking at what is being put out there world wide – that will really alter your point of view and or change your “perception of reality . . .

Rock Island Grip / Mainspring Housing Swap

I like 1911’s – I really like the arched mainspring housing! That being said I started scouring for Hogue Magwell G10 piranha texture grips for my newest adoption – my baby needs new shoes!

Not knocking the grips that came with – but – I’m so accustomed to the magwell / arched mainspring housing set that you see on the left – I went ahead and changed them out.

The ones on the left are sorta gray / black – which would have been fine – the new ones were a very subdued gray and black – I took them out of the package and was like – these aren’t gray / black, they are pretty much black.

Having 1911 guts scattered about I went ahead and put it together with them . . .

With the rest of the black accents on the new one – I think they look pretty good – and
( at least to me ) it grips and points right – AND as an added bonus I really should go to the range and run another fifty rounds or so through it just to be sure – LOL!

I really like how the high points on the new grips have an almost flat dark earth color to them – really couldn’t ask for a better match!

Any excuse to go to the range works for me – just saying . . .

I also put a dab of white sight paint on the front sight just to make it “pop” . . .

I will let you folks know how it does at the range – I really don’t think any issues will come up . . .

If I get time in the next few days / week – maybe a little side by side red dot – in this case green reticle – platform comparison between (on the left) Arex Delta Gen2 and (on the right) a PSA Glock 19 competitor – both real nice europellet (9mm) platforms . . .

Range Day : Smith & Wesson J Frame – 360-1 : and an update at the bottom

This is a pretty neat little piece of S&W history – pre-performance center – but – it is pretty much what a performance center gun would be eventually – incredible trigger – Scandium frame – titanium cylinder – really nice sights – pinned optic fiber front sight / adjustable rear sight – flat sided barrel shroud – full length lug under the barrel shroud – Bells & Whistles!

10 rounds of 125 grain Remington 38 special +P equals uncomfortable to shoot.

5 rounds of PPU 158 grain 357 Magnum – and PPU loads it full up stout- it does 1607fps out of a 10 inch test barrel – I may recover the full use of my hand in a week or so . . .

The one way up to the right of center? That was the fifth round and I just sort tossed it – I was determined I was getting all 5 down the range . . .

the sights are pretty close with the 158grain magnums . . . the flier was on me . . .

The biggest advantage to this revolver is also its biggest downside – it doesn’t weigh very much at all – easy to carry – hardly realize it is even “there” – but there is a real trade off – the recoil impulse is really not soaked up by the weight of it. That’s why 1911 5 inch government models in 45acp are so fun to shoot – plenty of mass to soak up recoil combined with a low pressure round . . .

I have the winter time OEM grips on my “it’s cold – let me stick this snubby in my jacket pocket” 642 – so I put the Ergo Grips on this – and yes I put the OEM Uncle Mike’s grips in the lock box – they are highly collectable and add a ton of monies $$$$ to the value of the gun . . . I have a new set of Ergo grips somewhere for the 360 – I put them where I would be sure not to lose them – now the trick is to remember where I put them – LOL!

The Ergo Grips give you two real advantages – the first and foremost is keeping the rear of the trigger guard away from the knuckle of your finger – the second ( and to me as important ) advantage is the angle of the grip allows you to lock your wrist so recoil doesn’t hammer your wrist up – the grips sends the bulk of the recoil down the arm in a more controlled fashion.

UPDATE . . .

Bath time – which means a range trip occurred – YAY!

Went to the range the next day – one of the granddaughter’s and the future grandson-in-law ( is that even a thing?? ) wanted to go to the range – so away we went. The kids had a good time – got to shoot a Colt 1911 in 45acp – yes I know it’s a Colt 1991 A1 not a 1911 – a S&W Shield in 40S&W – Damn that little pistol shoots good – and the young fella even put 5 of those full power PPU 357’s through the 360-1 – stated those were not what he would shoot with it for plinking – LMAO! We also shot some 130grain full jacket flat points and some 148grain wadcutters – both were a hoot!

So the 360 with the Ergo grips? Makes all the difference – I’m going to pick up another couple of boxes of those rounds (PPU) – get the tiny screw driver out and set up the adjustable sights for those particular rounds – shouldn’t take much adjustment – they are real close – the rounds themselves are shoot-able – not comfortable but doable enough to zero the sights and practice with them – not going out and shooting 3 or 4 hundred rounds at a crack – but I can practice enough to put holes where holes need to be put . . .

I will take some time and do a deep dive into the web and see what Ed Zachary I can find out about S&W 360-1- 3inch – did a quick look awhile back and really didn’t come up with much . . .

Question – Have YOU been to the range yet this week? – Why not?
