Hikok45 runs a nice Cimarron in the video – and if you want to read some of my ramblings on the “differences” between 1911’s <<<CLICK HERE>>> – and as he points out in the video Cimarron didn’t make a perfect copy or replica – they built a 1911 that would qualify to shoot in the “Wild Bunch” division . . .

As Robert Heinlein’s Lazarus Long opined, “Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded–here and there, now and then–are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.”
Now that all the right-thinking commie fucks enlightened people are in charge – where do YOU think we are headed and how fast will it take us to get there??

If there is an ugly duckling in this bunch in comparison to the Sig P232 the KelTek P3AT is it . . .
KelTek brought this pistol to the market in 2003 – and it pretty much set everybody in motion to build a small .380 pistol – If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery realize folks that Ruger just about copied it with the LCP – even to the point of some parts interchangeability.
I believe the P3AT is still to this day the lightest ( 8.3 oz ) .380 on the market – the little pistol will just about disappear completely when concealed yet still gives you a viable and useful firearm that is small enough to be carried anywhere in just about any clothing choice . . .
The P3AT sure makes the Sig look good, doesn’t it?
Just a simple bare bones get the job done .380 . . .
KelTek? Where’s the KelTek?
The sights are practically non-existent – no external controls – nothing to snag – one of – if not the best “deep” carry pistols you can find – but that comes at a price – the recoil impulse of this little pistol is hard to wrap your head around let alone your hand – I am a borderline recoil junkie and I don’t really care for the P3AT – simply too much recoil to be anywhere close to enjoyable to shoot – but it sure hides good . . .
If conceal-ability is your goal – the Sig is a small pistol but next to the KelTek it looks quite large – accuracy? At 7 yards you can shoot “minute of bad guy” – but seriously 4 inch groups are about as good as you will get with any rate of fire . . .
Folks – the bottom line on the P3AT – great LITTLE pistol, but for who? Please don’t get one for mom or grandma or even the wife – get one for yourself – you shoot it and decide if you can manage it – let them try yours – if they won’t carry it or practice with it – it does them no good whatsoever . . .
Didn’t have a whole lot of time but managed to get to Inner10 for a few minutes . . .
First off the Walther PK380 – dumped 2 mags . . .
And dumped 2 more mags – the grip on the PK380 is a wee bit too small for me – I would have to burn through about a 100 rounds or so to really dial it in . . .
Kinda cute isn’t it . . . and no I can’t tell any difference as far as shooting it with the Galloway recoil / guide rod assembly in it – but it’s a LOT easier to clean and re-assemble!
Dumped 2 mags out of my carry gun . . .
And dumped 2 more – I be loving me some 1911 / .45ACP action . . .
And honestly – there ain’t nothing “cute” about this one – other than night sights / G-10 Mag Well grip set / Wilson Combat recoil spring – it’s just a straight up government model in God’s chosen caliber – .45ACP – as handed down to St. Browning – LMAO! . . .
And for those of you who don’t know – when I say mag dump – that’s as fast as the pistol(s) will fire – train the way you plan to shoot – because – heaven forbid – if it comes down to it – you WILL shoot the way you train . . .
If you are in this neck of the woods – Sunday 7/18 – get to the range – it’s customer appreciation day – I can’t make it – I’m headed back to the salt mine myself . . .

Another From Lucky Gunner Ammo – He is a lot more diplomatic about the PPK’s shortcomings than I am – they are just not worth a shit when compared to almost any other pistol on the market – the nicest I can be about it is simply to say “The ergonomics suck like Kamala Harris – long and hard!” – Compared to the humble little PK380 it’s not worth the scrap value of the metal it’s made out of – I had high hopes when it went out of production that Walther would update it when they brought it back – round off some edges – think melt job – add a rail for a light / laser – release it in .32ACP because that shoots so much nicer in that platform – Oh Well . . .
