The scenes at about 15:56 are from a documentary filmed but never released until just a few years ago – Power of Decision – Simulated Nuclear War Documentary (1958)

Why the Strategic Air Command spent the time and effort putting the film together then never using it?? – Your guess is as good as mine . . .

POSTING BOO BOO NOTE – The “Victory at Sea” series was supposed to start dropping Sunday the 2nd of December – I am not quite sure how I screwed that up – but I believe episode 2 will drop the 9th – then episode 3 on the 16th and so on – all 26 episodes are coming once a week on Sundays as the original was broadcast on Sunday – 1 episode every week – one of these years I will figure this shit out . . .

Pretty neat work – This is a movie edit of the 15 chapter Dick Tracy cliffhanger serial – lot of effort so you can watch the serial non-stop as a “movie” – at just over 3 1/2 hours it’s a long one but a goody – get the popcorn out and feet up – Enjoy!
