Pinty Devices “Green Laser Sight”

Ordered this little laser from Pinty Devices – click through HERE – Came zooming here – like 4 days to deliver – came all packed up in foam – the top piece is off as I figured you really didn’t want a pic of a box of foam . . .

Came with everything you needed – even an Allen wrench and battery – which I realize after posting this that the Allen wrench was hiding in the foam – camera shy . . .

Mounts up nice and secure . . .

Pressure switch installed – cord wire tied down . . . ( wire ties not included )

The bore sight laser and the Pinty laser are sighted on top of each other at 67 feet – the bore center line is about 1 1/4 inches low at 21 feet . . .

Makes the AR pistol a real point and shoot device – just put the green dot where you want the magic hole(s) to appear . . .

Overall really decent – especially for the price point . . . Did not use the velcro mounting strips that came with it, used double sided sticky tape instead as I didn’t want any movement at all from the pressure switch . . .

If I were to use this firearm for any purpose other than a wall hanger in the bedroom I might think about a different product but for strictly a house gun – and at a 30 dollar price point it’s real hard to beat . . .

Some “Blushing Bride” Range Stuff – She’s Getting There

Alrighty then – 6 yards – 5 rounds – ocular cavity – and she hit the gun – which is actually hard not to do – the gun after all is the perceived threat . . .

Same target – 5 more – she slowed down a hair on these and got center of mass . . .

Same target – 5 more – she hit a little low . . .

6 yards – 9 rounds – 8 in the ocular cavity – one on the dot to the right . . .

It is very hard NOT to shoot at the gun – it is what your instincts perceive as “the threat”, even though the person holding the gun is the threat since the gun can’t do any thing by itself – the photo realistic targets were not what she was expecting – I told her to adapt! – she told me to fuck off! – but she admitted it was a bit of a fun challenge – LOL!

She is not to thrilled about counting rounds – but she said that it might not be a bad idea to have an idea of what’s left in the magazine . . .

Moved back to either 8 or 9 yards – 15 rounds of transitions as fast as she could put the sights on target and shoot . . .

Over all ?? – considering she is at less than 500 rounds total ( lifetime ) she is coming right along . . .
