And yes – wing commanders were actually much worse pricks than this – only one thing mattered – get them airborne and on target – Strategic Air Command would deliver on the initial retaliatory strike enough explosive energy to blow the entire surface crust of the face of the planet earth . . . 3 1/2 times . . . all of it through the wonder of SIOP would be delivered to China and the former Soviet Union – and they knew it – why do you supposed they never “fucked around and found out” ???
