Mechanical computers? Yep, and they worked quite well – no keyboard, hard drive, or monitor . . .
Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
First – the office set up : 2 monitors / 5 volt power supply for her little desk fan and wireless headset charging / powered adjustable height desk with inductive cell phone charging / floor lamp . . .

. . . mini work computer . . .

. . . bigger fan and little freezer . . .

In the event the electric company chokes and pukes – will it run this and for how long?? At 98% charge state when we started . . .

The hope is to run this for 8 hours . . .
Oliver and Curtis were helping daddy set this up – some tough work and they needed a nap after initial set up – LOL!

19% left after 9 hours of run time . . . Next test I will run an extension cord to the router and WiFi dongle at the same time and see what that does . . .

daddy -this product testing and evaluation stuff is not only hard work – but it’s kinda high stress – we are plumb tuckered out after a whole day of testing! . . .

Where we lived in Omaha the circuit ran through a lot of areas with old growth trees – a little bit of wind / lightning / snow / or a tree simply decides “fuck it – I’m not being a tree anymore” – woof bam – no power for three minutes / three hours / three days / three weeks / or anywhere in between. Working from home my Blushing Bride sorta kinda needs an assured supply of electricity and it looks look this Bluetti just might fill the bill.
Just to note : the electricity has flickered twice in the year we have been here – once was literally short enough the only way we realized it had happened was the clock on the microwave was blinking – the other was for about 1 or 3 seconds – YAY Xcel Energy! Not to ding OPPD – they have a LOT of lines above ground (strung on poles) running through older sections of town that are vulnerable to branches / limbs / trees landing on power lines . . .
I am setting up to test the router / WiFi with it at the same time – I will have to figure out some type of mount for it as the dongle needs to be run in a vertical orientation – maybe just an outlet strip sticky stripped / velcro strip stuff to the wall – then I can just unplug it from the wall outlet and plug it into an extension cord plugged into the back up- not to sure about that as it doesn’t involve duct tape – LOL! . . .

It was a few bucks off for “Prime Day” – that’s my story – I’m sticking to it!

Nice bag full of cables . . .

Well packaged . . .

Bluetti AC200L . . .

Just about any cable you might need . . .

Came out of the box with 56% charge . . .

90 minutes later on AC charge . . .

And no sooner than I took the pic it hit 100% – I believe that’s a desk lamp running off of it just to check for AC output . . .

Had to stop and do some serious ear scritches . . .

I have several things to run off of this to see “what” stuff and for how long it will power “stuff” – it should be interesting . . .

I really need to point out that the title was click bait for all you preverts and perverts that follow this bit of insanity a blog – A prevert? – that simply means pre-existing condition – LMAO!
Just pop 6 or 8 corn tortillas in the microwave for 30 seconds or so to soften them – so they don’t split when you roll them – this is all about simple and easy folks!
Mexican hot dogs are one of those really good – really quick – and stupid simple things that is a real change of pace – just roll the dog up and pop it in in the hot grease – seam side down – you can put a dab of thin flour and water paste to help keep it from unrolling – the biggest thing to remember is seam side down and hold it for a few seconds with your tongs . . .

These are great for dipping – mustard/ketchup – salsa – guacamole – doctor up some sour cream with onion / garlic / chili powder / hot sauce – or eat them naked – I don’t recommend frying them naked ( yes – I had to go there – LOL! )
Another fun thing to do is spread an ounce or so of hamburger on half of the corn tortilla and fold it in half and start with that side down – fry till crispy brown – turn it over and brown the other side – season your ground beef with taco seasoning mix and you have some good tacos – add your salsa / lettuce / tomato and enjoy – or – use plain ground beef and do it like a traditional burger – mustard / ketchup / pickle or however you dress up YOUR hamburgers.
Think outside the box and break up that “same shit / different day” meal thing that everybody veers into . . .
Check out “Simply Mama Cooks” on YouTube for some different and good meal stuff rather than the same old same old – again and again . . .

This is just about the way it was through the 60’s – it was a great program . . .
We had 3 “unofficial” rules when camping . . .
Rule #1 – Do not burn the woods down.
Rule #2 – Do not do anything that could get the scoutmaster thrown in jail.
Rule #3 – See rule #1.
We had some truly memorable camp outs . . .
