wWas listening to some 40 meter ham traffic this morning practicing tuning sideband on the Malahit and made a really cool catch – working the gray line – Radio New Zealand International on 7390 – on my Malahit and MLA 30+ antenna in the house – YAY!

The only issue is I couldn’t figure out how to rotate the video – oops . . .

Running a battery test with the XHDATA D-808 – simulating a weekend camping trip – don’t really expect any issues with battery life – BUT – I am going to be certain before I post it!

Obviously there will be a post coming at some point on the Malahit – quite an interesting little radio . . .

Got a ton of Christmas posts prepped so I can just “drop” them – and trying to get other stuff together – but – the family/social type commitments are really eating time up – yes I know, happens every year about this time – LMAO . . .
