Can’t paste it here – but click through – enjoy the movie – it will get the Halloween juices flowing . . .

From the description . . .

πŸ‘»In 1977, the legendary Gene Roddenberry envisioned a groundbreaking TV series that would feature two intrepid heroes hunting down real supernatural monsters. Does it ring a bell? πŸ›ŽοΈ

🎬 The pilot episode for this ambitious project was aptly named “SPECTRE.” However, it fell prey to what many call the “Roddenberry Curse,” never making it past the pilot stage. 😒 πŸ“Ί After the short-lived success of “The Lieutenant,” Roddenberry only managed to sell two TV series during his lifetime: 1️⃣ “Star Trek” in 1966 🌌 2️⃣ “Next Generation” in 1986 🌠 πŸ”₯ In this rare and exclusive video, Gene Roddenberry delves into his thoughts on the cultural significance of Satan in the 1970s. Don’t miss this deep dive into a lost chapter of television history! πŸ“š

The Halloween party is just getting started!!

Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!

Halloween – Let’s get the Party Started!

Got a whole bunch of Halloween “stuff” for Monday and Tuesday – “normal” programming will and or should return on Wednesday – LOL!

Bruce – you are classifying anything on this blog as normal??? – Really?

Hey folks – work with me on this – OK?

So with that – let’s get the show on the road . . .

Have Fun! ( at least these next 2 days ) – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish ( and zombie! ) Heads are Cheap!!

First Look : XHDATA D-808

Just got it in – here’s a quickie look for you . . .

After watching the review of this on Farpoints Farms YouTube channel – I’m like sure let’s give it a look . . .

I tried the XHDATA D-109 ( see review here ) and I wasn’t overly impressed – nice but didn’t do a lot for me – especially when compared to what most folks consider the “Gold” standard of little ( relative term ) SWL radios. The Grundig YB 400PE.

The Grundig works well – but I just don’t care to beat it up carrying it in a cargo pocket and using it camping / fishing / vacation. It is a product that is actually increasing in value – this one was basically new old stock. Next to the D-808 you realize how big the Grundig is . . .

The D-808 slips right into a cargo pocket and doesn’t feel like you have a brick in your pocket . . .

Had a few minutes to play with it and the loop this morning on the AM broadcast band – might be that the D-808 is going to work out well . . .

When I get time I will try some listening on the 40 meter ham band to see how easy/difficult it will be to tune sideband with it . . .

Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
