The biggest reason the boys got one is not the getting up on the bed – I mean they get a hug and kiss ( we loves hugs and kisses from mommy and daddy! ) when we pick them up and put them on the bed – the scary part is if they get it in their heads to jump down – they are going to jump . . .
Materials and construction – all of it first rate – top tier! The instructions are simple and straight forward – we only had one minor deviation – the instructions show threading the rope in between the mattresses with the block of wood at the head of the bed – well the foot board is in the way – so we just tied the rope around the foot board – a simple enough solution . . .
You will get an e-mail or an Amazonia link explaining how to “coax” your doggo up and down the ramp to help them adapt to it – Curtis and Oliver started with ramps from day one so there wasn’t any learning curve for them – folks you really want to avoid back issues – dachshunds are vulnerable to back issues if YOU don’t pay attention . . .
mommy and daddy even got us ramps to get up and down to our love seat . . .
we really like the recliner so we can snuggle with mommy and daddy – but our very own love seat is way cool – mommy and daddy makes us share our love seat when hoomans come over but that’s ok – hugs – kisses – and belly rubs – we are happy to share!
