People bring stuff to me – can you clean it? – Shoot it and tell me what you think – Did I do alright ( price wise – trade wise )? Ever seen anything like this?? And on and on . . .
And I really enjoy it – I see – handle – shoot – some pretty neat “stuff” Someone suggested that I post some of it – OK – here we go . . .
First a Tanfoglio pistol
Did some research – it is “somewhat” different to say the least . . . more on that in a bit!
It’s in 45acp with a 5 inch ported barrel – really high end sights – ( almost everything Tanfoglio makes is 4.75 inch barrels.
D/A S/A trigger – the double action is very smooth and the single action rivals a good 1911 trigger – and it is a good looker besides . . .
Did I mention high end rear sights??
Highly visible front sight – next let’s look at the porting . . .
The cuts in the slide . . .
And the corresponding holes in the barrel . . .
And a quick look at the frame , , ,
Tanfoglio made a very limited run of target pistols a while back ( 250 total production ) and there is very little to no information out there about those specific pistols – I sent an email to Tanfoglio – have not heard anything back yet – cleaned it up – lubed it – sent it on its merry way – simply did not have time to shoot it . . .
Next is an interesting start – probably take a couple of weeks to get it all done – yes I will post it for you!!
Two Winchester 1892’s – both in 32-20 and a reproduction SAA revolver also in 32-20 – the bottom one was produced in 1902 – the top rifle was produced in 1904 – if the screws all “play nice” I hope to strip them both down and give them a good deep cleaning – then go shoot the snot out of them – LOL!!
Both the rifles and the pistol are in good shape – so it shouldn’t to big of a mess . . .
and a coffee mug my blushing bride got for Christmas . . .
And that’s true – she is a ray of . . .
Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
