Read about this “stuff” a while back – ran across it several times not long ago slinking through forums – I figured why not try it? Ordered it from Brownell’s – HERE – zoom – it showed up. I wanted to see what it would do on ( what I thought was ) a clean bore – so I tried it on my H&R Break Top . . .

First you get the bore wet with Kano Kroil – then let it set – the longer the better – I let it set for an hour – then brushed it 15 – 20 times . . .

Then a patch or two with Hoppe’s #9 on them . . .

Then dry patches to get the solvent out . . .

Take a patch on the brush . . .

And put some J-B on it – “A Lil’ Dab’ll Do Ya” ( click on the link for an Important Public Service Announcement ! ) and run it about through the barrel 10 or 15 times . . .

Let me spread that patch out for you so you can see it better . . .
And this came out of a bore that was very clean – at least I thought it was . . .

Finish with wet patches ( Hoppe’s #9 ) then dry patches . . .
Some bore pics for you . . .
Right in front of the the chamber – from the muzzle end . . .

About midway down the barrel – still looking towards the chamber . . .

Don’t you just love the reflection of the can of Kano Kroil??
Midway looking out the muzzle end . . .

Does the stuff work? Oh Hell Yes!!! I was almost shocked at the crap that came out of a “clean” bore – Just start with Kano Kroil then Hoppe’s and then follow the instructions and you will be amazed – If I was one of them star giving people I would give J-B Bore Cleaner 9 stars out of 5 . . .
I have a couple of old closet queen 22 bolt actions I haven’t had time to do reviews on – just cleaned them up and stored them – If Y’all want I will do a review on one and do a detailed step by step bore cleaning on it along with the review . . .
I just love it when a product works not only as advertised but lives up to the hype about it that you read about on the forums . . .
