Uberti 1873 Cattleman Ursus 10mm Auto 5.5in Blued Revolver – 6 Rounds

Uberti 1873 Cattleman Ursus 10mm Auto 5.5in Blued Revolver – 6 Rounds – The Uberti Cattleman II with retractable firing pin is a breakthrough for those seeking enhanced safety with regard to original Old West revolvers without sacrificing the visual authenticity of a 1st-generation Colt.

As any cowboy knows, the safest way to carry a single-action is with the hammer resting on an unloaded chamber. This is true even for the Uberti retractable firing pin design. But in the case of the Uberti design, the risk of accidental discharge is reduced: the firing pin is not locked into the firing position unless the trigger is pulled.

This enhanced safety feature is available without a visible transfer bar safety, which those who insist on visual authenticity might not want. In other words, from the outside this revolver’s looks and operation are identical to those of an original.

Now this is something I truly DON’T need – so of course it is on the “to buy” list – LMAO!

I wonder just how hard you could push 180 grain 10mm pills short of Kabooming the cylinder?? 2000 fps??

The biggest question is who can I get to test fire it as the powder load starts creeping from the stupid loadings into the you’re crazed loadings – it might be fun ( right up to where you have a catastrophic failure ) to see what you could achieve – or just shoot it and enjoy it – Buffalo Bore makes some hell for stout 10mm . . .

Shot some Buffalo Bore out of my Glock 20 – it is stout – this would be a real hoot – especially with the porting – I couldn’t find an image of the 10mm I could grab so I used the one from Guns America . . .

Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
