We will be looking at 3 this week – left to right – Schrade Old Timer “Land Shark” – Boker Stiletto with Pakka Wood scales – and a DKC Laguiole pattern / “White Prince” . . .

And I finally got “stuff” all in one bag – and didn’t lose the bag – for a back burner to front burner project . . .
Not cleaned and left in the sheath for several years . . .
Washed it with a good dish soap and hot water ( de-greased it )- dried it and put it in rust remover . . .

A little bit of free advice for you folks – clean your knives when your done with them – and DO NOT store them in the sheath – especially if the sheath is leather! . . .
These next two are after a soak in rust remover and a “vigorous” scrubbing with a stainless steel brush . . .

I washed and rinsed it again – dried it and saturated it with CLP – will let the CLP soak into it for several days then wash and rinse again and start sanding/polishing it – start with 600 to 800 grit and end up at about 6000 grit – or higher – all you have to do is keep replacing the scratches with smaller scratches and then get out the jewelers rouge and buffing wheel – then start sharpening – I sometimes question my sanity – at least they don’t want the handle replaced – stacked leather replacement really sucks . . .
Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
