There are still a few few Drive Ins out there – The StarLite in Wichita is still around – of the ones that were left ? – most of them closed several years back – the owners simply could not afford the conversion to digital systems – it’s one thing to be able to borrow the money and then you have to figure out how to cash flow the loan . . .
This clip is from the 80’s and from the StarLite – not sure if it is the StarLite in Wichita or not since ( if memory serves me correctly – LOL ) at one time the was like 25 + drive ins named “StarLite” . . .
