If your world view consists of the “programming” you are being subjected to by the mainstream media commie fuck cock sucking liars ( FIFY ) and assorted satanists YOU don’t even know you’re up shit creek without a paddle or even a boat . . .
This next video will help point you in the right direction . . .
Where can you find “stuff” to listen to? ShortwaveSchedule.com can get YOU started – Over to the right side you see live stations – click on “Show me” . . .

Which will get you to a page that shows all the current broadcasting that they are aware of – NOTE : this is not all broadcasts – a lot of stuff isn’t listed . . .

As far as radios go – whatever fits what you want to listen to and fits your budget – AM broadcast band?
The GE SUPERADIO III is a great one – but – it is no longer produced – however it was picked up by RCA and from everything I can find out – the RCA is just as good – check them out here . . .
( HINT – at night listen between the clear channel stations – and don’t be surprised what you run across! )
This one is not the prettiest from many camping and fishing trips – but it still works like new!

There are a lot of old Radio Shack Short Wave receivers on the market – a bunch in pawn shops as well – if at all possible power it up before you buy . . .

The Eton Field BT is still in production – the “Grundig Edition” is not made anymore but the only difference between it and current production was it said “Grundig Edition” on it / two things to note about this Eton radio #1 – no sideband capability #2 – no direct entry . . .

When you want to step up your game – Eton Satellit 750 – really nice stuff – start looking here . . .

And when you just want high tech for the sake of high tech – SDR – Software Defined Radio . . .
The DX Patrol MK4 – available from DX Engineering HERE . . .

SDR is a lot different than a stand alone radio – all the knobs – buttons – tuning etc. is done on your computer through software . . .

And it WILL NOT work at all unless you go into the settings and pick which input you want signal from – HF or VHF – don’t ask how I know this . . .

It is rumored that I actually read the instructions ( after two WEEKS of screwing with it! ) BUT I WILL NEVER ADMIT TO IT – just saying . . .
If you want to take a look at SDR – try websdr.org – it’s pretty neat . . .
Bruce – How come I don’t hear very much?? Conditions and antenna – that’s is just about it in a nut shell – Atmospheric conditions you have to put up with – and there are two basic schools of thought with antennas – a pre-built – check here – or the old school way – More Wire Higher . . . CLICK HERE TO GO HEAD FIRST INTO IT – or start with Dave Casler’s YOUTUBE channel – he is very knowledgeable on the subject . . .
A fun thing to do? start with 8764 USB ( upper side band ) – if conditions are right you should pick it up an hour or so after local sunset here in the US – military weather broadcast out of Ontario – then work your way all the way out to Newfoundland and down the east coast and around into the Gulf of Mexico listening to military and Coast Guard weather stations on various USB ( upper side band ) frequencies – military tends to use USB – amateur radio operators tend to use LSB ( lower side band ) – there’s a whole world of information out there that is NOT filtered through 4 or 5 corporations and being pumped into your brain through that cable coming through your wall . . .
I started listening to short wave in 1963 – I quickly figured out SOMEBODY was lying to me in 1963 . . .

Have Fun! – Run the Gun! – and remember – Fish Heads are Cheap!!
