This is not totally unexpected – just look at YOUR electric bill from a year and a half ago compared to now . . . WTWW had about a $9000 dollar monthly electric bill 1 1/2 years ago -and somewhere around $13750 NOW – simply unsustainable at current rates – let alone projected increases of 50% to 150% for electric rates over the next 12 to 24 months – as I understand it they are going to buy time blocks on WRMI as well as streaming from the WTWW website – but it just ain’t the same . . .
At least they will survive in some fashion on the short wave bands – but you just hate to see another station go dark . . .
WTWW really came through here in the Midwest like a local station . . .
