The video is pretty spot on – this was one of the best “civilian” receivers ever available – I still fire mine up every so often . . .
FFS folks – don’t store them with batteries in them!!
The direct entry is nice – just enter the freq and you’re listening to it!
I might just pack it full of batteries and do some side by side with an SDR just to give you an idea how good this beastie is – no waterfall obviously – but it’s really good!
