“Pirate” and Regular Shortwave Radio Stations – Folks there is a TON of stuff out there . . .

But Bruce – there isn’t anything on my shortwave to listen to! – Really? There is a whole world of stuff out there – the next 3 to 5 weeks are going to be stupid busy but I will try to get some tips and tricks and techniques put together for you folks to help you start listening to “stuff” – SWL is not hard and it can be done on a thin budget – for me my budget is not very thin as it lies somewhere between serious hobby and obsession with me – LOL!

Folks – there is a tremendous amount of programming being broadcast right now on shortwave <<<CLICK HERE>>> and that’s not counting pirate stations or clandestine broadcasting – numbers stations don’t really fall into clandestine – or unknown – stations – how long do you think it takes to plot a stations location if they are broadcasting with any amount of power for any length from the same location on a repeating basis? Not long at all – pirate and especially clandestine stations change frequencies and locations often – most of the time clandestine stations will not broadcast twice from the same location – For obvious reasons . . .

As I post this Radio New Zealand is coming in like a local station here in the mid-west – they are transmitting to the South Pacific Islands region and we are getting “overshoot” from the broadcast – lots of good stuff out there – and no, you don’t have to have a shortwave radio to listen to most shortwave broadcasts – click on the hyper text link above and listen live on their streaming service – but what’s the fun in that??

One of the Greatest Duets Now Back Together / RIP Loretta Lynn . . .

To me she will always be “The First Lady of Country Music” . . .

From the website newhillbilly.com . . .

“In 1971, Loretta Lynn began a professional partnership with Conway Twitty. As a duo, Lynn and Twitty had five consecutive No. 1 hits between 1971 and 1975, including “After the Fire Is Gone” (1971), which won them a Grammy award, “Lead Me On” (1971), “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” (1973), “As Soon as I Hang Up the Phone” (1974), and “Feelins'” (1974). For four consecutive years, 1972–1975, Lynn and Twitty were named the “Vocal Duo of the Year” by the Country Music Association. The Academy of Country Music named them the “Best Vocal Duet” in 1971, 1974, 1975 and 1976. The American Music awards selected them as the “Favorite Country Duo” in 1975, 1976 and 1977. The fan-voted Music City News readers voted them the No. 1 duet every year between 1971 and 1981, inclusive. In addition to their five No. 1 singles, they had seven other Top 10 hits between 1976 and 1981.”

Why Nothing EVER Changes . . .

Do YOU ever wonder WHY nothing ever changes?? At one point, some 30 years ago I wanted to build a Tesla coil -so I started reading about Tesla – the local library could get books from anywhere and everywhere ( college libraries etc. ) – and a lot of the books you could not even take out of the library – they had to be read there – about 5 months later I had read just about every book written that had Tesla’s name in it – fiction – non-fiction – tech journals that could be gotten through the “lending” program – you name it I had read it – since then I have grown weary of trying to get through to people the simple fact that we are being screwed over on a regular and on-going basis . . .

At least this guy has some semblance of credibility and perhaps will wake a few people up to what is and or could be happening – good and bad – the free power thing? That just scratches the surface of what Tesla was into – HINT: How about free instantaneous travel to not only where you want to go – but WHEN?? Who wins and who loses if THAT is possible??

Pilot Wake Up Call

This is so hilarious – at least to me . . .

Watched this 12 or 15 times and I still laugh every time . . .

Build a voice alarm clock for pilot people out there and have this voice warning for the alarm – pretty much they get right up out of the bed – or they died in their sleep – one or the other . . .
