So I guess it’s a toss-up as to which one they hate the most – you who would dare question ANY of the multitude of lies they spew – or your guns – which prevent them from killing you . . .

CZ75 / PSA “Full Size” Comparison – Thank You Mr. Squeaky Duck!

In an earlier post I mentioned that the PSA full size frame had a CZ75 “feel” thing going on – so I thought I would put them together and compare the two of them visually for you folks . . .

Here they are back to back ( the money shot is at about 37 seconds in ) – I believe there was more than some casual design cues used from the CZ75 – but that’s just me – your thoughts?

The PSA laid over and offset on the CZ75 – the CZ75 carries the grip angle almost to the bottom – then tucks it – the PSA “breaks” the grip angle about 2/3’s of the way down – visually different but “feels” wise?? Pretty much the same . . .

Front of the grip? The PSA has a slightly more under cut trigger guard and except for the little finger bump the front of the grip(s) are pretty much the same . . .

A slightly more pronounced flair at the bottom of the PSA . . .

The CZ75 has the palm swell grips on it – not my particular cup of tea – but my Blushing Bride snatched this one up before I got a second rang trip with it and she likes the grips – so it retains the palm swell grips / LOL! – not the best angle on the pic – but there is not a lot of difference between them . . .

Height difference? Remember there is no rear sight on the Brownells slide yet – I might go ahead and try some different sights on the Brownells slide – there are many different sets available and this would give you folks a straight forward look at them.

Remember folks, I buy all of this “stuff” you see on this blog, so it’s not like I am going to “fudge” a review on something in the hopes of getting more free or vastly reduced in price stuff in exchange for a favorable review – if it’s decent stuff? – it’s decent stuff – it’s as simple as that. The competitive level in the market environment today is at such a level that there is less and less junk out there all the time. If you stay with a brand name product.

Brownells 19LS & 19LS Barrel – Have a Look!

No bang bang this weekend – still waiting on the rear sight – Yea I know – why didn’t I order the sights when I ordered the barrel that I forgot to order when I ordered the slide and parts kit for the slide – we’re not going there – OK?

The machining and finish on the slide is great – handling marks are compliments of yours truly – so basically you can have a Glock G17 upper on the smaller G19 lower – or on one of the many clone variants out here in the market . . .

I’m telling you folks – Brownells “stuff” is GOOD “stuff” – the 19LS on the left . . .

With the recoil springs out of the way you can see the the difference in the locking lugs on the bottom of the barrels – that’s the reason you just can’t put a G17 slide on a G19 frame. Brownells gives you a port in the dust cover extension to get your front sight mounting job done.

Just an incredible fit and finish – recoil spring out of the way . . .

The SCT frame and the Brownells Long Slide – Brownells parts kits for the slide and lower – basically a Brownells pistol – and with Brownells life time forever guarantee – and the ergonomics with the longer slide and extra weight forward?

If this combination shoots as good as it feels – I may have a new “favorite” europellet thrower – just saying . . .

It ergonomically shames the Glock brand Glock G17. It really feels great – almost has a SAR B6P or a CZ75 feeling thing going on.

Chomping at the bit to get the rear sight in and get to the range – Oh Boy!

And below is the current configuration I am carrying – PSA Dagger compact frame – PSA Dagger RMR cut / rear sight forward slide – Holosun HE508T-GR – A combo that works real smooth together. The optic was a LOT easier to adapt to than I initially thought it would be – only took about 250 rounds or so to get in the “groove” with it . . .

What’s For Dinner?

“TATER TOT” casserole – good stuff and easy as can be . . .

I added one small diced onion to the ground beef about 4 minutes before I added the taco seasoning mix – added about 1/4 cup of chopped garlic with the taco mix – and totally forgot to add the can of Ro-Tel – and it was still real good stuff!

The only difference the next time – besides adding the Ro-Tel that I forgot – LMAO! – will be to thaw the the bag of tater tots overnight in the fridge – I believe that will give a better melt through of the soup/sour cream mixture as well as better melt through of the cheese on top . . .
