Monday in Review with Curtis . . .

A good breakfast is an important part of every day – daddy cooks me scrambled legs to go with my kibble – i told mom we should keep daddy and the stove around – well – at least the stove . . .

kibble and scrambled legs good – it’s what in my bowl – what did you have for breakfast? can i have some? i would be willing to taste test it for you – make sure it is OK to eat!

I know I can get my little tennis balls out of this thing – I just ain’t sure how . . .

try not to get too scared at this next one – but i had to tell the blue ball what i thinks about it!

Daddy wouldn’t help me re-arrange my bed – so I had to do it myself . . .

daddy – would you please take my sandal off your foot so I can chew on it?

here i am surveying my domain . . .

i am not sleeping – i just blinked both eyes at the same time – the sunshine is a trap!

and my doctor called – they had an open this afternoon so i got to go and give all the girls about a zillion kisses – sometimes life is good!

and Tuesday is is going to be another busy day – starting with my daily rearrangement of my bed – daddy made me hold still while he took this picture – said something about nobody would believe him or something . . .

i gotta go – i am real busy – trying to talk daddy into taking my sandals off so i can give them a proper chewing and most important – it’s nap time . . .

bye bye everybody and send food!

A Triple Play to Start Your Monday . . .

I want everybody to have just as good a week as mine will be – I get to go see my doctor Tuesday – she wants to take me home for intensive care – and I go to start my school Thursday and learn all kinds of new stuff!!

I fell asleep putting this post together – daddy finished it for me – thanks daddy . . .

Sarco Mags Update & the Frankengun Lives . . .

Finally got a few minutes to slip up to the range and try the Sarco 1911 7 round blue steel mags – they ran with ZERO issues – ran all 3 through the Colt M1991 and all 3 through the Cimarron nickel GI model – and it was good – if you want or need 7 rounder for your .45 acp 1911 these will work for you . . .

The big holes are obviously the 1911’s – the small holes are from the Frankengun . . .

They were out of G19 mags retail wise so I borrowed a “well used” G17 mag from the pile at the range – had quite a bit of play when inserted – ran 5 rounds and then it decided it wasn’t going to feed anymore – 1 shot – good extraction – mis-feed – crap – drop the mag clear the gun – try again – no joy – ordered 2 ETS G15 mags from GUNMAG WAREHOUSE – and when they get here I will see how they run in the Frankengun – so I will get everything cleaned up and do a 25 cent trigger job on my Frankengun and get ready for another run at it . . .

My PSA Dagger Slide is Here – YAY!

Not bad – about a week – order to door . . .

Flawless finish and machining . . .

RMR slide cut to the rear of the rear sight – flawless . . .

Flat wound recoil spring – steel guide rod – cover plate and bolts for the plate as well as sight mounting bolts – allen wrench – feed ramp and rifling on the barrel looks good . . .

Slide lightening cuts are done to perfection – finish around them flawless . . .

The parts kit dropped right into the SCT frame – you would almost think you were looking at a Glock – wouldn’t you??

And these next two lets you see the look I was going for . . .

I just knew the SCT frame and the Dagger slide would look great paired up . . .

Still have to drop an optic on it but I don’t need that to take it to the range and run it!
