Decent enough series – Why THIS episode?? It was directed by none other than William Conrad!
From the comments – “Yes, William Conrad directed this episode. Not only was he a prolific actor and announcer {he was still appearing as “Matt Dillon” on CBS Radio’s “GUNSMOKE” at the time, and narrating the “Rocky the Flying Squirrel” segments on “ROCKY AND HIS FRIENDS”}, he also directed various episodes of other ZIV television programs {“TOMBSTONE TERRITORY”, “BOLD VENTURE”, “MEN INTO SPACE”, “BAT MASTERSON”, et. al.}, as well as producing their “KLONDIKE” series in the 1960-’61 season.”
Enjoy!
I know some of you folks are into obscure “stuff” as much as I am – I don’t post all of it I run across but I try to keep a mix of stuff for you to look at . . .

Mike Rowe lays it out as simple as it can be . . .
It’s real simple – acquire a skill set and become proficient at it – where to start?? Go down to your local union hall and talk to them – if you have ANY mechanical aptitude at all – you are on your way – no sugar coating here folks – it can be tough for some kids – you have to show up – on time – sober – and heaven forbid – you might get dirty and actually have to work . . .
I ran my butt off at work to train with a stationary engineer for a year besides doing my job – studied hard and passed the licensing exam for this jurisdiction – what did it get me?? 80K a year with a 3 1/2 day work week! No glitz and glamour – pretty much by any standard a nasty work environment and I can work as long as I want after I retire – right now there are 81 openings for stationary engineers in the area – I’m sorting through offers now for the best pay/benefit package with the lightest work load – looks like I will almost match my current salary PLUS collect my full social security for as long as I want to or not . . .
And a bonus for you folks – Mike Rowe: College’s Worthlessness & Multi-Millionaire Plumbers . . .

A very simple “show stealer” recipe – you can turn ordinary into Extraordinary!
The stuff :
3 boxes of Mac&Cheese boil as directed – drain
In a Skillet – saute a finely chopped onion in 2 or 3 T of butter – When the onions get glassy add in no particular order:
2 cans of ro-tel
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup of milk
the three packages of “cheese mix” from the Mac&Cheese
8 tablespoons of butter
heat through then add the “adult” stuff . . .

add 1 lb chopped up to the pot – half the package – or add it all – it’s YOUR Mac&Cheese – then add the macaroni – don’t grind it in – just fold it in . . .
Put it all in a fair sized baking pan – I use a 9×13 – spread about 1/2 lb of YOUR favorite cheese on it – pop it in the oven @ 350 for about 20 or 25 minutes – let the cheese get “bubbly” – cover with about 2 cups of bread crumbs and pop it under the broiler just long enough to “brown” the bread crumbs . . .
This seriously upgrades from throwing a can of tuna in your Mac&Cheese – LMAO!
Enjoy!

It appears that I will have 10 days to catch up on “stuff” around here – I’m putting my “Adult” Mac & Cheese recipe together for you folks AND I’m going to open up my envelope of gun parts from Brownells . . .

. . .and take you through the upgrade of my S&W 637 – I got tired of listening to it bitch about never getting shot more once or twice every month or so – seems like nobody wants to shoot it more than once – folks just don’t like getting their knuckles whacked every time it goes bang . . .
Who would have guessed? Between the Ergo Grips and the Wilson Combat spring kit it turns the Smith J Frame into a nice shooter – and if it pleasant to shoot you will tend to practice with it more often – practice often enough you will get your confidence level to a point where you will carry it . . .
Also from Brownells is the actual tool to remove and re-install the rebound spring upgrade – so we will get a look at that as well . . .

It just sucks – Turned my phone on early (4 ish) Saturday – so if the chicken rancher wanted to do the road trip thing I could disavow him of that notion – my sinuses went sideways and then south at about 1 AM Thursday morning – struggled through the rest of the night and Thursday night/Friday morning – made it – feet up – crash and burn time . . .
Wrong – day guy off sick – the other day guy sick – the other night guy sick – Damn – I’m it and my sinuses are in the middle of their twice yearly protest – winter when the cold weather settles in and spring when the pollen cranks up – long story short had to go in today – up doing a “phone/text” baby sit thing right now (2 AM) – may end up in today – but wait there’s more – my normal shift cranks up at 6PM Sunday – so don’t look for a lot of posting for the next week or so – not saying my attitude at work could use some improvement . . .

I don’t have an attitude problem – the rest of these assholes have a perception problem!
